Why do you think that all the states have all different materials that can be mined?

    ReplyDelete
  15. Megan, some states can have the sand and gravel mined from underneath the ground and others don't. I think this would be because of where the states are located and what natural resources are available in them.

  107. Shane, I didn't know that California has gold. Out of every state it had to be the one that was already famous, and now it had to have gold in it, too. I thought it ran out after the gold rush from 1848-1855, but it looks like there is still some there today. I'd like to get in on the gold rush today.
