Mississippi River

And we thought we had it bad ....With all of the rain we have experienced within the past month we saw a lot of areas running into problems with flooding and landslides.
Check out the following links on what is happening in Memphis, TN.  What would you do if you were in this situation?

And we thought we had it bad with all the rain. Honestly I would be panicking in this situation from the flooding. Probably would clear outta the state and to somewhere around Maine. Thats PROBABLY what I would do. If there was another way, I would pack up and leave for the way east or west to either California or Florida. Plus its warmer there so its not a very big deal if I have to move to another state

If i was in this situation i probably would be very scared. Since the river completly raised over the bridge, that puts you in very great danger. I would probably try to move out as fast as i could, so that i can get to a safer area. That would be my plan but in reality im not sure, probably panic and wait for adults to take over.

wow thats terrible i thought we had the most rain its a good thing we live in the hills.first of all the people that live there should have thought about the flooding before they moved there no kidding. thats what i would do anyways, but im not them they should move to the hills like us in ohio.

I would be really freaked out if i had all of this kind of stuff happening to me. i feel really abd for all of the people who have gotten their lives destroyed. I would be devistated if my house got torn into pecies and all of my stuff got ruined. it would especially be really sad to be there while it was happening and just stand there and watch your stuff get ruined because you know there is nothing you can do. that would be a horrible feeling. i cant immagine what these people are going through.

That is a horrible situation that all those poor people are in. I could never imagine having to go all through that. But if I did I would hope that my friends and family would be there to help and support me.

with all the rain here i thought that we had it bad.but if i was there i would be freaking out because it is flooded and i wouldent know what was in the water and even if it was safe. i might even move because it is going to talk awhile for the flood to go down but either way all of the familys things would be damaged

If I was in this situation I would be very scarred. If a spillway were to be open towns people would expect 5-25 feet deep of water!!!!!! The Flood has reached 47 feet!!!!!! It was at the top of peoples' houses! I think my family and I would evacuate as fast as we could. Overall my parents would come up with the decision of what to do.
