i would like to learn about the plaes in the earth and how earth quakes happenn and why they happen.

and also when the earth will bloe up and how volcano eruption acrer

Kilgore, Sydney said...

I think we will be discussing how the plates underneath us formed the way earth is now. Also that when these plates rub together they can cause earthquakes.

Kilgore, Sydney said...

I agree with you shanne. I like to learn more about how earth quakes occur and maybe do some expierments involving this.

Royer Rachel said...

I think we will be dicussing how the plates undernath us formed the conitents we live on today. Also when the plates bump and rub each other and cause earthquakes.
I think we will dicuss the topic moving of the continents, volcanoes and earthquakes.
I think that I would like any expiermentsthat we doo involving plate tectonics.

Madison Schnell said...

I think we will be discussing the movement of the plates under earths crust and i think we will be discussing the topic of earthquakes the most since tthat has a lot to do with plate techtonics. I would be interested in doing labs on how earthqakes occur and see the actual damage of them under and above ground with different models of cites and landforms.

I think we will be learning about Plate Tectonics. Haha, I think it will be about the Earth and how its core and crust are always shifting, also about how this will cause earthquakes...

Madison Schnell said...

Shane i agree with you and Sydney i want to learn more about earthquakes and how they form and work.

Sheridan,Megan said...

I think we will be discussing plate tectonics, haha. I think we will discuss how the earth is always making new things, such as:crust, spewing molten magma up along undersea ridges at the boundaries of tectonic plates. I would be interested in really doing any labs, instead of reading.

Madison Schnell said...

I wonder if here in Ohio we could ever get an earthquake? it's never really happened and i wonder if we will ever get one if the plates keep moving.

Royer Rachel said...

I agree with you Sydney on how earthquakes occur and volcanoes erupting.I also would like to do expeirment somehow invloving these 2 topis, too.

Sheridan,Megan said...

Shane,
I think that would be cool to learn about how earth quakes happen and why they happen. I never really thought about that.

Wall, Alexandra said...

Madison, I agree with you. And, Shane, I agree with you about the earthqukes...

We will probably discuss about how Plate Tectonics are formed and what causes them and what they cause. I would like to learn how they are formed and why

Brady Farmer said...

i think we will be learning about the movement of the earth's crustal plates and what they do.

Jordan,M,Malsbary said...

I would like to learn how the plates move. I also want to learn what you would have to do in a earthquake. I think we will learn what makes them move. I think we will be doing labs on how to move the plates.

i guess were going to learn about plate tectonics and the earths crust and stuff.

I think we will also be learning about plates. I think labs like showing us how earthquakes, hurricans and stuff like that occur would be very fun.

Jordan,M,Malsbary said...

I agree with with megan it would be more fun to do labs. Also how the earth moves would be fun to learn.

anonymous said...

i agree with jorden i want to know how plates work too. also the earth quakes like shane said.

I think we should be dicussing how the plates underneath us formed the way earth is today. When the plates rub into each other it cases a earth quake.David Meiners

anonymous said...

Shane I agree with you. I`d like to learn more about the plates like when they rub togeither how much force is being transfored.

I think we're goingn to be studying earthquakes, since some of the other comments, and the article, has mentioned moving plates under the surface of the earth. That's how earthquakes form, anyways.

anonymous said...

i think we will be descussing how plates in the earth crash together to form earthquakes happen.

i agree with sydney i think it would be neat to do expierments involving how earthquakes do happen i think that would be very neat.

-Dylan Humbert

i agree with you megan i would rather want to do labs and expierments rather than reading out of a book and doing worksheets.

We will discuss Earth's movements, like for example:
We will discuss Earthquakes.
We will also probably discuss Volcanos and other thing that shake the earth. I really don't know what kind of labs I would be interested in doing.Hhhhhhmmmmmmm????

freel,amanda said...

I agree with Rachel Royer:
We probably will discuss how the tectonic plates form our 7 continents. Also, we will probably learn much more things!!!!!!

anonymous said...

I really dont like plate tectonics but I know a little much about it. They are on the crust layer of the earth. But I guess the labs would be kinda cool.

i think we will be studying the plates under the earth and wht they do

anonymous said...

i wanna know how the plates in the earth form this shape we are now and earth quakes under us that would be really cool and @ sydney
i didnt know that earth quakes are formed by plates rubbing together.

austin tilford said...

I think we would be learning on the earths plates, earth quakes, tsunamies, and volcanoes.

A, Owen said...

I think that we will be talking about earths plates that are allways moving under earths crust, and what happens when they push on eachother.

A, Owen said...

I agree with shane we mite be learning about earthquakes and how they happen.

PAPATHANAS,ANTHONY said...

I think we will learn about the earthquates an the plate tectonis. We will be doing explovise labs to see eruptions from volcanios.

PAPATHANAS,ANTHONY said...

i agree wth shane we will probably learn how the earth quakes happen.

Anonymous said...

i think we wiil be discuing how the earth is shaped and how volcanos are made and also how caves are created and erosion and dePOSITION DREW VAIVE

Anonymous said...

i agree with shane that we will learn about how volcanos OCCAR

Sean Laake said...

I belive we will be talking about the Earth's mantel core and crust. Plus earthquakes, continental drift, volcanoes, mountains, landforms, and other land features. Possibly if we can, how mountains are formed and how volcanos form and erupt. What I know already, is that moving plates can cuase land forms to rise, earthquakes to destroy, Tsunamis also to destroy coastal cities. Moving plates cause the ground to shake and eventually, crumble. This is where the term 'Earthquake' comes from. They can be measured by what we would call a Richter scale. Its very simple, a pencil draws a line, as an earthquake happens, the pencil's line pulses, like an open heart moniter. Tsunamis are caused by Earthquakes underwater, it first just trembles underwater but then, just like and Earthquake, BOOM! It all happens at once, water fgoes flying, boats are captsized, docks are demolished, houses are turned to rubble, eventually it reaches the city, 50 feet of mass destruction goes plowing through the city like a bull that sees red. And what would probably be destroyed the most? The plantlife and eventually the wildlife, the salt water kills the plants, then the lack of plants kill the Herbivores, when the Herbivores die out, so do the Carnivores, you know what happens next? The Buzzards will be the last ones standing! An all you can eat Carcass buffet! So Plate Techtonics is a good thing and a bad thing at the same time, land creator, and city destroyer. BUT if we could harness the Earths core for energy, we could controll earthquakes so they wouldnt happen near our coastal towns. But is would be used as a weapon, if someone hacked the system.

I think we'll probably be talking about the plates inthe earth. And what the earth is made out of and stuff. I also think we'll be talking about earth quakes a lot. I don't really know what I'm interested in doing right now. I don't really know a whole lot about plate tectonics.

Anonymous said...

@Charlie:
I think the labs could be cool too. It depends on what they are though.

anonymous said...

im not sure what plate tectonics are but i think we will talk about the earth's iner core.

I think we would be studing how the plates of land on eaeth's surface move. earthquakes, volcanoes, and fossils. I would be interested in doing a vocano eexperiment.

Francis,Jarod said...

I agree with both Shane and Sydney I would like to know how an earthquake accures and do an experiment involving an earthquake.

Buelterman,Abbey said...

We will be discussing on how volcanos explode. We will discuss Volcanos and we will watch a volcano explode.

Buelterman,Abbey said...

I agree with Sydney because we will watch Volcanos explode.
