I saw the moon last night. When I looked at it I thought it looked a little different. I realy didn't think to much of it. Now that I have read this article, now I know why the moon looked a little different in the sky last night. If I have time I might go outside tonight and look at it again knowing why it looks a little different.
I saw the moon last night too when I was walking back from my neighbors house and it looked beautiful. The light from it let me get home. It was hard for me to resist tring to reach up and grab it.
I didnt see the moon last night but my mom said it was a yellowly color and I didnt think much of it.I thought that maybe it was becuase of global warming or pollution or something like that.Hopefully in 2029 I will remeber to look at it!!!
I didnt see the moon on the 22 or 23 but i have seen it before...When ever i see the moon i always comment on it to who ever was near me.I would usually say why is it so big and its so scary and looks like the moon in a scary movie.
To Kyle Gorman: I agree with you 100% about not thinking about why the moon looked differently.If I have time to look outside for a few moments which I should I look for the moon too.
I did see the moon Sept. 22&23! It was a really cool looking moon, although it looked differernt than usual. I agree with Megan, I hope I remember to look in the sky in 2029!

I did see the moon last night, I was just able to see it out of my telescope, the seas on the moon looked larger last night. I kinda imagined it as a giant orange.
I saw the moon it looked like a full moon but it was yellow.It looks like it was in the desert when it was yellow.For some reason I think the craters in the moon make it look like ET and the boy in the bike in the movie ET.I know the craters do not look like that but I think it does sometimes.

whoa the stars haven't alied like this in 20 years wow thats so cool! last night I saw the moon was diffrent its so intersting learning about it. i wish i had a telescope.

No, I didn't get to see the moon I kind of forgot about it. Anyway, but I saw a picture of it and I thought it was awesome!!!. Anyway, I will look at it next year and see if it looks better when u in the sky, then on a computer screen!!!!!

I saw the moon and I thought it looked really pretty. I was in the car and I stared at it the whole way home from west chester. I saw it one morning at around 6:50 am and it lookedd beautiful. It was a little gold.
Just seeing this today I'm trying to think back and see if I remember any differences...So I sort of remember seeing something other that what looked like the ordinary moon...it might have been the same night. I just remember questioning if it was really the moon,I didn't really think much of it either.
dear Elizabeth, It could very well be global warming, but the the moon vidio we watched it explained how the moon was slowly moving away from us not towrds us.
I thought it looked amazing, and it is a perfact representation of summer. It had the nice warm colors of summer are running into the distance. If I could see that every night I would, but now that summer is gone It'll have to wait till next year.
Is what keegan said true, that it only happens ever 20 years. If it is true that means the moon won't be yellowish for another 20 years. We'll be 30 by then.

I agree with Kyle I never thought the moon could change. I thought it stayed the same all the time. I guess it is a good thing that I am learning this stuff so I can share it with my family.
That would be really cool to walk on the moon but i would be really scared and probablly back out. I wouldnt want to leave earth. I do wonder why the moon looks yellowish too? I dont think it is becasuse of the pollution though. Its way to far from the earth to get our pollution. But it could be possible.?

i could not see the moon i was outside at 9:00 and i just couldnt find it but i did see the big dipper....i think it was the big dipper

The Moon was probely yellowish because it was reflecting off the Sun more than usaul. So that means it only happens like every 20 years.
