How would you feel about going to space knowing you would be putting your body at risk to these numerous factors? Would these factors hinder you from going to space? Would you be concerned about losing bone density or having your fingernails removed?

I would be scared to be in a small room for a long time I cant be in a small space for very long I get to cloister phobic and I get really scared and I start making really weird noises.No i wouldn't be concerned at all unless its my whole entire finger nail and I would be concerned about losing a bone.
like Abby said I also would be scared to be in a small romm for a few years. i mean they don't have skyline, McDonalds, and Subway up in a space station.
Definitly my finger nails removed because that has to be very pianful. these things would difinetly keep me from gong into space.
I would like to go into space, but I would not like to lose bone density and losing my finger nails. losing your finger nails like Jarod said it has to be very painfull.So I would say yes it would stop me from going into space.
To Abbey, Jarod and Owen - I have to agree with you. I don't think that I would really like being out in space for that long. I am very content to explore Earth. There are so many things that I don't know about our own planet
I don't think I would like being in space for that long, especially being cramped in a space suit. I would not like knowing that I could be putting myself at risk, either. I don't think that I would go to space anyways, but these reasons would definetly support my desicion. I would definetly be concerned about losing bone density and having my fingernails removed!!!!!!!! That would hurt! OUCH!!!

I think it would be awesome to go to space but since you have to put you body at risk i dont think i would do it. Losing finger nails would most likely stop me also losing bone density.
I also agree with abbey about being in a small place. I would not enjoy bein in a crowded place for a long period of time.
well i would take percoution when going up into space but i fell that gravity and land will do fine for me but yes i would think it would be cool to go up into space

i cant stand being in a small room for a long time and im very squeamish so i would hate having my fingernails removed and it would stink to not to be able to see blue skys and green grass, i would be homesick
SPACE, awesome! well not really actually scary i am scared to be in tight spaces for long time, and losing a finger nail i couldnt imagine i have caught almost everyone one my finers in a window or a car door and just that hurts so losing a finger nail or bone density no thankyou i might wait awhile to go up into space.

I think going to space would be pretty neat, but i would not like to be cramped in a space suit either. I would not go to space knowing that I would be putting my body at risk. I would definitly be concerned about losing my bone density and having my fingernails removed that would hurt so bad!
I cant stay in one place for a long period of time with a group of people. I would still go into space knowing it could efect me.finger nail loss would slow me down.

I would like to live in space. I don't think i would worry to much about those problems because you can do things to prevent losing bone density or losing fingers nails. The thing i would like about living in space would be able to float around and do flips and other cool things.
i would not like to do that because i could never be able to stay in such a small space for days or even WEEKS i would go crazy i couldnt do it. yes i would not like for my finger nails to be removed that would suck big time also the bone density would be bad

@ Jarod: I think that if they could have McDonalds up in space i would definitly go without even thinking about it. I dont think i would like a vacume packed turkey or ham sandwhich every day in space.
I do think it would be cool to go into space. But to lose bone density and or fingernails which is probley painful yes it would stop me.
i agree with alex reichling it would be cool to do flips and stuff i would like seiing outerspace from just a window i would not like to be in a small space for such a long time though

it would be awesome to go up into space though, we could see the planets up close and if we could walk (or jump) on the moon it would be sweet because there wouldnt be that much gravity to hold us down

If I had to be in space that long I would absoulety hate it in there!!!Also I hate knowing that Im putting my body in danber going up in space.I would definetly be concerned about losing my bone density and my fingernails.I cant even count how many times I lost my fingernail by smashing it in a window or a car door.Thats hurts really bad!!!

I completly agree with you 100% with about going up into space and losing your fingernails and bone density.Even though going up into space is pretty much a 1 in a lifetime thing I wouldnt want to put my body into danger.
i would not put my body into risk and i would not like to get my fingernails removed i agree with mrs martz i would way rather stay down here on earth because there is alot of other things on earth i would like to explore.

i get claustrophobic when im in an elevator let alone in a little ship for a LONG TIME and the food in space must taste horrible. yea it would be nice to go to the moon but it takes too long i wouldnt do it.

I could not live in space in a little rocket I have closterfobia. I also would not want to get my fingernail completely removed that would be super painful. I would hate losing bone density because I could loose a bone.
I would be pretty scared to be in space for a long time too, i'm not claustriphobic or anything but I deffinatly wouldn't find that to be very fun. And besides I wouldn't have anything to do up there for that long! I'd get soo bored! But if I was just visiting space like an astronot then that would be kinda fun. And who WOULDN'T be concerned if they could lose a bone or a fingernail?! Especially if I would put my body at risk.

I would not be able to be in a small room i hate small places when im play hide and seek i cant stay still. I would care about my bones because then i would be weaaker but if my nails just fell off i would be fine but if they were riped off thaat would hurt.

I think that if I have had the chance to go into it would come across as and incredible opportunity...but I would NOT put my body at risk of losing bone density or even finger nails.
Oh, and also Elizabeth in a small area for too long would not make a happy trip...at all!
I would agree with abby,jarod,owen,and mrs.martz.Being in a small room for a long time could really kill you because you would sufficate.And my fingernails falling off and losing a bone could be deadly because what if you lose your leg or something you need to have to survive?

I would not like to live in space. I don't like being in a small space for a long time. One thing that would tempt me would be zero gravity. I would love to float around as long as there were walls, a cieling, and a floor. I would be worried about losing bone mass because I would need to exercise, and I'm not that type of guy. And why would you need your fingernals removed? I would not like to be a finger-nailess freak.

I would not like to live in space because you always have to wear a space suit. Also you have no gravity so you wouldn't land on the ground. I happen to like my bones and finger nails so i think ill just stay on earth. plus there no animals i couldn't survive.

Jared, I agree with you about not having Mcdonalds or any fast food places. Maybe they have dehydrated Mcdonalds in little bags. Just add water.
If I was in a small area for a long time, I would be cloister phobic and start gasping for air.I also wouldnt be concerned at all but only if it was my foot or arm I would be scared to if it was by bone sticking out of my arm.
Me and tight spaces no way! Well depending on how tight of a space it is and for how long. That would be really nasty losing a fingernail and losing a bone is making me sick thinking about it. I still think it would be really cool to be in space
I would hate being in that tiny space for too long. However, if I had the chance I would go to space. Finger nails grow back, and yeah ok, I would be scared of losing a bone, but if you did the right stuff (protecting yourself, taking care of yourself), it would lower the chance of that happening. I think the risk would be worth it.
I would feel scared because I wouldn't want to be up in a spacecraft and sweating in a spacesuit! Yes, I don't want to ever go up in space, even if I was paid to go up!!! Yes, because it's gross and disgusting and completely not right!!!!!!!

I think it would be kind of cool to live in space because we get go in a space ship and go to the moon or another planet. It's cool to learn about the other moons and other planets because we could discover what the history of the planet or moon was like.

I think that the people that go into space are very brave and I would need some time to think about going into space but I dont think I would. Loosing your fingernails, losing bone density... that doesnt sound good. But I would be affraid of hights too, because you ar pretty high up there.
Living In Space Would Be So Fun Especialy With Zero Gravity That Would Be Bunches Of Fun And I Would Be Able To Breathe In A Small Room For A Few Years It Shouldn't Be That Hard.

Comenting on Alexandra, yea I think that there are micaphones in the suit, that suit doesnt seem very comfortable.
I think it would be cool to go in space but I don't know if i'm clastraphobic, so I agree with abby it could be very dangours because you might have a panic atac. I would be concerned because bone density could keep you from doing certain things.

I think I would rather not put myself in a position to lose bone density and muscle density and my nails, but the new suit may help. Although I don't want my body to wear away, I would absolutely love to visit space. I would feel weird having my nails removed. What would take their place????
Also, I don't think I could live without chipotle in space, that would be a problem.

I wouldnt go to space because if you put your life n that many risk then there could be many chances of complications. Yes, these factors would scary me, I wouldnt be able to go into space with these facts popping in and out of my head. I would be very concerned with losing both my finger nails and my bone density. I would also be comcerned with wondering if I would return to normal state after I got back from space.
I think it wouldn't be fun being in space because it will cause bone loss (just like in the moviewallie), also there's the loss of gravity which is bad for your body.

I wouldn't want to live in space at all, but maybe I would go to space. I wouldn't want to live in space because there is no gravity so I might get frustrated since I can never stand, and there wouldn't be any food for me to eat.
If my fingernail got removed that would feel very weird and it would hurt!

I would still want to go but I would just want to go for a short amount of time so it wouldn't effect me much. I would be worried about losing bone density and mabye my fingernails. I guess I would ger used to not having fingernails after awhile it I did though.
I would feel nervous to go into space because you would be risking your life to come home. These factors would not concerne me from going into space because then I can say I went to space. I would be a little freaked out about losing bone density and having my fingernails removed.

Dear Andrew, You would not lose your finger nail but you would lose all your oxygen and your face would puff upp with so much pressur that your face well literally blow up!
