This song really is inspiring and I am one of those people who are inspired by this song.I agree 100% with Keegan and Tommy it does give you different thoughts about the storm and how it effects the people that lost everything.God Bless You!!!
I don't think I have ever heard of the song or Jimmy Buffet. Although this video was very realistic and helps me to understand more about hurricanes, now I understand why it is called a Natural Disaster! It must have been very hard for the people in New Orleans to accept what happened and move on... by the way do anyone know if the hurricane hit all of New Orleans??
i heard of jimmy buffet before but it was for a christmas song. a good song to go with hurricane katrina. go to my blog and there is another vidoe i posted on hurricane katrina milah willims.com

I have heard of Jimmy Buffet but I have not heard this song before. I now kinda know how it feels to be there during the storm. I also know that there is still water canals where the streets were.
I also have to agree with Keegan it did give me a different perspective but Jimmy Buffett does these kind of songs so it was a good song by Jimmy Buffett.
that is really sad and when you tunk about it, its seems when your doing your chores you tihnk you have it hard well they have it harder so know when i arguing to my mom about chores i think that there are people out there that have it more difficult
I've heard of the artist Jimmy Buffett but I havent heard this song and if you think about it...thats a really sad song..I think the most powerful lyric is "If a hurricane doesnt leave you dead, it will make you strong."
I don't think I have heard of this song...or the the artist. But I agree with Keegan and Tommy...it really does make you feel differnently about the storm.

I agree with you Tommy. It makes me think more about the storm and how terrible it must have been for them to go through that.
