Did you feel the earthquake Thursday, December 30? How is it that we could have an earthquake in the midwest? Where was its epicenter? What was the magnitude? What would if be like if we had and earthquake here in Cincinnati? When was the last time we had one in Cincinnati?

No, its hard to belive that Indiana had an earthquake, because i didnt feel a thing. The magnitude was a 3.8, which is the highest Indiana has ever recored. The earthquake happened to indicate a fault zone becoming active, and its center was at Kokomo, 57 miles north of Indianapolis. If we had an earthquake in cincinnati it wouldnt be a big earthquake.
I was listening to the news in the car about the Indiana earthquake that day. I was pretty surprised that Indiana had an eathquake too. My Grandpa had claimed that he felt it. I'm not for sure what the magnitude was, but it was in the 3.
range. At least it didn't cause any or very much damage. :)

I did not feel the the earthquak on thursday but I know it was an aftershok of the earthquake in Indiana. The last time we had an earthquak was a couple years ago from China's huge Earthquake.
I wasn`t suprised there was an earthquake the earth is always changing. The magnitude was 3.8 the highesgt indiana ever had.
No I did not. It was a 3.8 magnitude. The epicenter was in kokomo. I think it woul be small like the last time we had an earthquake. We had one recently.

no i didn't feel the earthquake on december 30. but i do remember one time there was an earthquake at night and i felt it badly. i nearly fell out of my bed. i dont know where the epic center is but is that the epuator i think. the last rime there was an earthquake i don't remember. it might of been in 2009 somewhere. if there was an earthquake in cincy then............ just did December 30.
I agree Sydney keiser that if we had a quake in cincinnati it would be big.

I didn't feel the earthquake. There are still fault lines in the midwest. The epicenter was in just east of Kokomo. The magnitude was 3.8. If we had an earthquake in Cincinnati, I don't think there would be much damage because it wouldn't bea big earthquake. I think we had an earthquake recently.
I agree with Sydney, it is hard to belive that there was an eaarthquake.
