Clouds

What are clouds and how do they form?  What are the names of clouds and what do they mean.  How does lightning form?  How many amperes are in a return stroke of lightning?  Read this short article and watch the video and answer the above questions.

clouds are basically just a big area of gas that eventually fill up so much with liquid and then they drop which prodces rain there is around 5000 amps there is alot of stuff

CLouds are just a big area of gas, differentiated by altitude and shape. Clouds fill up with so much liquid, they eventually drop, which produces rain. There is about 5000 amps(a lot of stuff)!!!!

clouds form by the water cycle. The water evaporates from oceans, lakes, rivers, and streams; goes up into the air, and creates a big cloud of water like material. When the cloud starts to fill up with water, they burst and that is how it rains. There are around 5000 amperes in a return stroke of lightning. that is a lot. I think the water system is a really cool thing with all the different ways that it works. I also think that lightning and thunder-storms are also really cool!!

Sorry!! not water like material....gas and liquid water!!!

Cumulus:flat on the bottom with big billowy tops,Stratus:short and spread across great distances,Cirrus:wispy and thin,Nimbus:likely to bring precipitation are all the types of clouds and what they mean. lighting is formed by a little electricity in a cloud that rushes outward from a charged region in the cloud. it starts with a little spark in the cloud 5 miles up a spurt of electrons rushes outward travels 100 meters and then stops and pulls for a few millions of a second then the stream goes in a different direction and pulls again and again the stream often branches off and splits but this is called a stet liter an intensely charged channel branching down as it gets close to the ground the ground pulls the stet and as soon as it hits the ground its lighting.

Clouds are a visible mass of condensed water vapor floating in the atmosphere.
Clouds form when rising air, through expansion, cools to the point where some of the water vapor molecules "clump together" faster than they are torn apart by their thermal energy..
there are two types of clouds, blue clouds or dark stormy clouds; blue clouds represent that things down the road will be good; dark stormy clouds show trouble or turbulence up ahead

A cloud is a weather phenomona they are all made of the same thing condensed water. Water vapor goes into they sky and condenses. The most common clouds are cirrus, cirrostratus, cirrocumulus, cumulonimbus, altostratus, altocumulus, cumulus, stratocumulus, nimbostratus, and stratus.charge build up between the cloud and the ground a stepped will start toward the ground.
