Magma comes up to make igneous rocks. Erosion of the rocks create sediments. Water washes the sedients down the river. THe compaction makes the sediments push together and make sediment rocks. The rocks go down and push together to make metomorphism rocks. The matamorphic rock then melt bacause of the lava.

There are three rocks igneous, sedimentry, And metaophic. Warer cycle is when evaperation and prectpitation happens. Erosion produces sediment. River moves the sediment. seam flow decreses the movement of sediments. Minerals deposited between grains cement them together. Heat and pressur changes igneous rock to metamorphic rock. malt and magma changes metamophic rock to lava.

First magma erupts to the surface (or stays under). Then the lava (or magma) cools and forms igneous rocks, then the rocks are weathered and becomes sedimentary and falls to the bottom of the ocean. On the ocean the sedimentary rocks cementate and solidify on the ocean. Then the moving plates make sediments get caught in the current and is put under the surface to pressurized and heated, thus forms Metamorphic, eventually these rocks find their way back to a magma chanber and melt. Eventually forming yet another day of the rock cycle. All it takes for the rock cycle to start is a single magma chamber or an active volcano. The rocks change form due to changing enviroment, igneous forms near a volcano, sedimentary forms just about anywhere on the surface, and Metamorphis forms underground. The rock cycle is like a well oiled clock. Take out one gear and the rest falls with it. The rock cycle is very dependant on Ingneous rocks or there would be no rocks. They also depend on Metamorphic, take out metamorphic and you run out of lava to make rocks from. If you take out sedimentary rocks there would be no rocks to turn into metamorphc, and when theres no metamorphic, no more rocks.

The rock cycle works by magma crystallizes to form igneous rocks, then erosion of solid rocks produces sedimentents, then rivers transport sediments, then the sediments deposit. The sediments are then compacted and cementated. Then metamorphism happens, then the melting of metamorphic rocks back into magma. It takes melting, cooling and erosion and weathering to make rocks change form. I think this is an easier way to look at the rock cycle, and i understand it more.

The rock cycle starts when the magma is in the magma chamber and then the lava will come out when a volcano erupts. After the volcano erupts then crystalization happens and turns the hardened lava into igneous rock. Then erosion causes the igneous rock to turn into small bits of rock called sediments. Next the sediments get carried away by a river or something that carries sediments. Then the sediments get deposited somewhere. Next compaction and comentation turns it into a sedimentary rock. Metamorphasism happens next and then the rock is a metamorphic rock. Finally then the melting of the metamorphic rock for the rock cycle to start itself over.

2. The magma flows out of the volcano.
3. The erioson of the rocks causes sediments.

5. The sedements depostite
6. Compaction and cementation of the sediments happens.
7. Metamorphicism
8. Melting of metamorphic rock.

Crystallization of magma to form igneous rock happens first then solid rock erodes to produce sediments. Then the sediments get transported and deposited. After this the sediments get compacted and become cemented. After this procces the rocks get metamorphasized. The last procces is the metamorphic rock melts.

Hailey Hoover said...

the first step of the rock cycle is lava flowing out of a volcano and crystalizing to form igneous rock. what happens in the lava flow is quick cooling results in many small crystals. gases bubbling out of the lava to form holes in the rocks. then erosion of soild rock forms sediments. next the sediments are transported by river, wind, etc. the next step is the deposition of sediments. hoe this happens is; decreasing velocity of streamflow causes gravel sized sediments gather near the shore. then sand grains settle out where streamflow becomes too low to carry them. clay sized particles settle farthest from the shore in calm water. the next rock cycle step is the compaction and cementation of sediments. then it's metamorphism. in this stage, heat and pressure form igneous rock into metamorphic. the melting of metamorphic is the last step. then the pattern reapeats.

The rock cycle is a continuing pattern of how rocks are formed.

1. Magma is crystalized and forms igneous rock.
2. Erosion of solid rock forms sediment.
3.Then sediments are going through the system of transportation.
4. Then the sediments are then deposited through deposition.
5. The sediments are then compacted.
6.Metamorphism occurs
7. The metamorphic rock then is melted
8. The cycle then repeats itself.

In order rocks can change by going through some type of transportation to either erode or be deposited or to melt into a new form.

I find this fascinating, and I did not know that was as long as it is.

magma erupts from the valcano and hardens quikly to form igneoous rock. The rain erodes the rock and they become sediments, and the near by river washes the sediments down to the ocean. the sediments pile up and are then pressed together by the wait of the water. The moving plates drag the sediments under the continental plate where they are melted down and the procces repeats.

First, Magma erups to the surface of Earth. Then, lava flows out of the volcano. After that solid rock produces sediment as a result of erosion. The sediments are then tranported. Deposition takes place after transportation. The sediments then compact and go through Metamorphanism. Metamorphic rock then melts and the cycle repeats. This process is similar to the water cycle in my opinion. Except, the water cycle takes a shorter period of time to complete. The rock cycle can take up to millions of years.
